Up to Date, at 11 am on Wednesday, will host a show discussing the arena design teams and the process. If you can't catch it, you can stream it afterwards from the website.

some highlights.

- Vicki Noltis (sp?) called in saying the public will have more say when the team is picked and the design phase starts. Tomorrow's meetings will not be much about design (as others have stated on here). This makes me feel better about the meetings. Although Collison brought up a good point that this meeting tomorrow is pretty much picking the "style" of building will be hence the meetings should be open.

- Mayor didn't want a "design contest", hence the RFQ to just hear the teams design qualifications and why they should do the arena.

- The choice will pretty much decide if this will be a KC-Identity style building or a background building.

- Gehry challenge is to show they can do a functional arena

- Caller brings up Gehry has cost overruns, time overruns, and future repairs because his joinery can be faulty.
