Unofficial KU/MU Hate Thread with predictions

Although the first meeting in Lawrence seemed less exciting than past encounters, I expect the game on Sunday to be HEATED!!! You have MU going on a win streak, but losing against Texas Tech and KU coming out strong at home against NU despite obvious problems. And it is March baby!!!!

MU is aiming to win "their" national championship and battling for a tournament birth while KU wants more respect and to shut up their nagging rivals.

My prediction:
Mizzou 71 KU 59

Graves will not show up, KU will miss numerous 3s; KU will trail the entire game; corn cob pipes, straw hats, and overalls will rule the day in Columbia ...sorry 'Hawkers.

NOTE: This is an opportunity to do your Kansas/Missouri bashing in a constructive manner.

This game is also the last one in the Hearnes Center, so it will be extra meaningful for Mizzou. They specifically asked for KU, because of the history and tradition of the rivalry.

Focus for MU will immediately shift to the Big8+four conf tourney and the winner of the 8/9 matchup after receiving a bye in the first round.

I pray that I am wrong about the Beakers falling in Columbia, but the stench of the Misery fans alone is enough to immoblize any team.

KC, we I think that we have one more tourney appearance than MU- when I started Callege, we had the most in the Big 8- and the most Big 8 wins- but KU blew us away during the Altman years. We need to hang on to what we have! I hate to say it, but go KU- keep the Tiggers out of the tourney!

Dan...what difference does it make to you that the KU-KState rivalry sucks now? All you Moo fans know how to do is hate on others.

KU might not win tomorrow, but we will never be the root of all evil like Moo is.

Actually, KU already is the root of all evil. MU is only the root of most evil. However, this is one of the extremely rare situations where we are better off with a KU win. If MU had lost to OSU and K-State, things would be different.

Dan...you cannot live on Lawrence without knowing the Randle thing...not a big deal, he ran from the cops when he basically did nothing. This is a big deal compared to Moo's pending NCAA investigation and racism of the athletic department how?
