Wyndham sells Doubletree Hotel in Chesterfield

The Doubletree Hotel in Chesterfield, Mo., has been sold to Slohat Hotels Inc. as part of the sale of six Doubletree Hotels.

Dallas-based Wyndham International (Amex: WBR) sold the six Doubletree hotels to Slohat for an undisclosed amount. Net proceeds will be used to pay down debt, the company said.

The Doubletree in Chesterfield has 223 guestrooms, a spokeswoman said. The other hotels sold include the Doubletree Anaheim, Calif.; Doubletree Tulsa, Okla.; Doubletree Allen Center, Houston; Doubletree Post Oak, Houston; and Doubletree Overland Park, Kan.

Wyndham said it has set a goal to sell non-proprietary assets, stop paying fees to support other brands and focus on its core brand
