I wonder if Sunflower would be doing a project in the East Village, and not in locations like this, if the entire East Village wasn't being held up waiting for a decision on the baseball stadium?

IMO the entire East Village is being held up by a Master Developer, the stadium is just the current excuse.

“If it requires structured parking, we can’t make it pencil out without incentives in KCMO.” - as said by a very active KC developer recently

Roeland Park has been trying for a long time to find a developer that's interested in this site. I'm assuming they're giving away the farm in incentives here.
