Nothing major I've been told. My interaction with them has been mostly virtual, so not many side conversations happening.normalthings wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 7:15 pmI assume it is mostly design refinements from what we saw in September. if its something major, I am sure DCOLEKC would let us know.

Re: Three Light
Soon.
Lord Dark Helmet: What the hell am I looking at? When does THIS happen in the move?
Col. Sandurz: NOW. You're looking at now, sir. Everything that happens now is happening now.
Lord Dark Helmet: Go back to then!
Col. Sandurz: What?
Lord Dark Helmet: THEN!
Col. Sandurz: I can't!
Lord Dark Helmet: Why not?
Col. Sandurz: We passed it!
Lord Dark Helmet: When?
Col. Sandurz: Just now!
Lord Dark Helmet: When will then be now?
Col. Sandurz: SOON!

Re: Three Light
This reminded me of seeing the new plaza building that has a screen on the top and we had been talking about 3L or another Cordish building in sTL having that. That plaza building is really cool!

Not shockingly, was told the official announcement is pushed back a month. No reason as to why.

Construction will start in the next few months. Worst case, mid 2021 but I don’t think we will see worst case.
You can imagine the curve ball the pandemic tossed in being before ground was broke. If they had started construction and than the pandemic happened, it would be well out of the ground by now.

Any hope of getting floors back? If they can chop them off, they can stack them back on

I wouldn't assume it could be done.TheLastGentleman wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 9:03 am Any hope of getting floors back? If they can chop them off, they can stack them back on
If they downsize the foundations to handle a smaller load the size is likely permanent.
Cutting foundation costs on a big project by 5% would be a place to cut costs without impacting the finishes of the project
