Re: West Plaza
The second one the following night appears to have been some kind of retaliatory shoot out.

Re: West Plaza
Does that mean we can count it as just one shooting?

Re: West Plaza
I think it was near 44th and Jarboe in the middle of the night on Wednesday. There are some apartments there that someone involved at least had access to.

So any plans for the land just north of the Country Club bank that used to be apartments now it's just a big empty lot?

The rumor mill was some kind of condo's or new apartments or something. It's been off the radar for quite a while now.

It’s owned by Price Brothers, so I’d expect plans to take shape in about 25 years or so.johnmatrix wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 8:44 am So any plans for the land just north of the Country Club bank that used to be apartments now it's just a big empty lot?

That sucks. I like how that part of the West Plaza is coming together. The Hotel was a mistake should have been apartments with some retail or grocery store.alejandro46 wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 6:42 amIt’s owned by Price Brothers, so I’d expect plans to take shape in about 25 years or so.johnmatrix wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 8:44 am So any plans for the land just north of the Country Club bank that used to be apartments now it's just a big empty lot?

Re: West Plaza
Hopefully with the new Mayor & Councilman we get those eyesore House businesses on Westport RD torn down, That Fork in the road on Westport Rd replaced, Better snow removal, More of a police presence, and some development on the empty land behind Country Club Bank.

Hopefully they don’t tear down anything without a development plan that will go through and is an improvement to the area.

That intersection was studied by HDR in 2010 or 2011. IIRC the impediment was that any solution involved the strip mall losing a chunk of its parking lot. If you search around I’m sure this is discussed somewhere on this site.

That's not going to change the fact that once QT opens it's gas area and Mikes new place opens everyone will be choking to death from round the clock automobile pollution.johnmatrix wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:02 pm Hopefully with the new Mayor & Councilman we get those eyesore House businesses on Westport RD torn down, That Fork in the road on Westport Rd replaced, Better snow removal, More of a police presence, and some development on the empty land behind Country Club Bank.

Re: West Plaza
I'll check it out. Not sure how i'd feel about that although that parking lot seems to rarely be at capacity it would suck to lose that small vegetable stand thats there in the summer.
