1:10pm: Oakland Athletics @ Kansas City Royals.
Then, just 300 yards South of there...
9:15pm: San Diego Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football!
Plus, KU, KSU, and MU all have home games the Saturday before and after the 13th.
This should be an event that every KC sports fan should want to attend. It's going to be EPIC. EPIC!

I love early fall. Unfortunately for us Kansas Citians, this kind of awesomeness doesn't extend well into October.AllThingsKC wrote: 1:10pm: Oakland Athletics @ Kansas City Royals.

They are selling tickets to the Royals and Chiefs games for $68. You can buy a $25 parking pass and stay there all day.
So, when the Royals game is over at about 4:00pm....what do you do in that parking lot for 5 hours until the Chiefs game starts?

That is going to be a dangerous drive home is my guess....since fans have ZERO way to get there other than cars.
Should be a fun day/weekend.

Well, it's going to be a long day in the parking lot for anybody who decides to be the DD.AllThingsKC wrote: They are selling tickets to the Royals and Chiefs games for $68. You can buy a $25 parking pass and stay there all day.

So, other than the Royals, this was a pretty good sports weekend for Kansas City. I wish they could do more Royals-Chiefs double headers. It would be great if they could do something like this annually.
(Sorry, I'm still on a "Chiefs won on Monday Night Football" high.)
