Study: KC fans rank No. 6 for frustration

Feeling frustrated, Royals and Chiefs fans? It's no wonder. Kansas City ranks No. 6 among the most-frustrated sports fans in the country, according to a study by American City Business Journals.

Kansas City's professional teams, in a total of 101 years, have won two championships and had 55 losing years, according to the study.

The study is based on the premise that the worse a team performs in the long run, the more frustrated its fans are likely to be. The rankings are based on the performance of all major-league teams in each market from 1954 through 2003.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla., ranks as the most-frustrated market. San Antonio ranks as the least-frustrated market.
