Wi-Fi in the Living Room

Post by AJoD »

Maybe this should add-on to an existing thread, but...

There are lots of kids in my house this afternoon, so I decided to work out of the house.  Had my second meal at Chefburger and then brought my laptop over to the KC Live block.  RoadRunner Speed Zone hot spot!  Score.

Royals shutting out the Tigers to move to 2-0 on the big screen. Score.

Beautiful weather, running water, minimal people.

Good times, people, good times.

Looks like they're setting up for the Ink party tonight.

Edit: It smells like artichokes in here.  Weird.  Royals win.  Woo-woo.

Anyone know if they plan to keep the sound on all the time on the big screen, or just for events.

Lots of green Hawaiian Punch being hauled around, presumably for thie evening's party.

Stream of consciousness, KC Rag style ;)

That's cool they have wireless there; I didn't know that.  The living room area is a great space.  I'm looking forward to spending time there this summer.

Off topic, but will that area be served by waitresses?

I have seen waitresses there, not many, but a couple.

There's a whole bar set up now, which I didn't quite understand before how would happen.  I'll post pics when I get a chance.  For those who venture down here for Wi-Fi, there's a power outlet right outside the biergarten door for Gordon Biersch.  I had to buy a beer to keep working.  For shame.

Heck of a beautiful day down here today.

Cheers.

Are there any outlets hidden in the rock walls surrounding the seating in the living room?  I plan on doing some laptop stuff there too.

The little access panel door on the north side of the fountain near the ground doesn't latch.  It's going to get all bent up and ripped off sometime soon if they don't fix it.

The cushions on the benches are all beer-stained too.  I hope they plan to change those regularly too!

The cushions are probably made to just hose off and let dry. They probably havn't got around to it before you got there.

Check out the new video boards in the district.  Besides the three smaller boards on the left, there is also a long narrow board above the main screen.  This would have been nice during the tournament.

Anyone know whether they're going to put an HD board up in the courtyard? The current one is bleh.

I agree, completely underwhelming picture on the current board.
