Cheap rent needed

Post by scooterj »

Anyone know any lofts/apartments downtown that rent for under $750/month for a 1-bedroom but do NOT have income restrictions?    I have a friend who wants to move downtown but everything he's looked at so far is too expensive for the size and his budget.

Hell in that case, rent him a cot in the broom closet - he can spend all that extra time he saves on commuting on productivity.

I see one on his web site for $1650 but not for $650.  Did the $650 just come available?  Or maybe it' gone already.

If the building is the one I am thinking of - this place has always looked pretty rough - a neat old building but the sort of place were you might need some needles or pipes to fit in with the neighbors.  Am I off base?

Same impression I've got.

Landmark Lofts would be quite a hike to 10th & Walnut, especially being NW of I-70 & Broadway.

I just spoke with Helen at Mel's place.  She just leased it.  Didn't last long enough to make it to their web site.
