So what is this exactly? The front end of a company that books nurses to go out and fill roles around the country? Is it new to the KC area?Cratedigger wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 5:12 pm Travel nursing company moving in June 1, 2023

Exactly. I work in the receiving end (travel healthcare) and they work with hospitals to get temp workers in at typically 2-5x normal pay. These agencies typically skim about 20-40% of what the hospital is paying them and the rest goes to the person actually doing the work. I've heard of this company a little, but we have two other companies here in town that are much more well-known in the industry thanks to covid. A huge hotspot of these agencies weirdly enough is a few hours North of here in Omaha.Highlander wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 9:08 pmSo what is this exactly? Next Move is in final planning stages of the build out. That’s moving along quickly. Rapidly growing company owned by a really great entrepreneur. They’ve been acquiring other related companies as part of their growth strategy.

All the workers (as far as I can tell) are working in the back on the BOK bank. Still deathly quiet at the main building.

The deal is not finalized, but this group out of Salt Lake City just applied for their liquor license indicating the deal is getting closer. Would be new construction on the south "lawn" of Grand Place. KC would be the second location, but they are looking to expand into similar markets.

I don't see very many people here willing to spend $225/month for access to that, but I could be surprised.

Seems to serve a similar purpose as the former Kansas City Club on Baltimore.

If there wasn’t a market for that kind of extravagance, the company wouldn’t allow it to happen. It looks nice, but I wouldn’t spend $225 per month for it.

Well, I'm currently paying almost that much just for a private karaoke room, so it looks like a deal to me.

Welcome to the crossroads banking district. At least it's a new building taking over a surface lot

Why has this project taken SO LONG!?!? Feels like they've been piddling with this building for a decade. Finish it up already.
