Downtown Living
Just wondering how many Forumer's do live Downtown and when you moved there.
If you're not on the EDGE, you're taking up TOO MUCH ROOM!

Re: Downtown Living
I moved to Crown Center in 2001. When Santa Fe Place went Condo, I was ready to buy. Since I work at Hallmark and an empty nester, it was a very easy choice.
I'll have what the gentleman on the floor is having.

One of the first buyers in The Manhattan. I moved in almost two years ago. Came from Overland Park. Love it here!

Re: Downtown Living
lived downtown from december 06-august 07 in a loft at "atriums east." nice place, but i didn't find downtown living all that exciting. i think living in the crossroads or river market would have been better than living adjacent to valero/i-70/parking lots though.
my heart has always been in midtown and (to a lesser extent now than in the past) the brookside area. it's "the city" i grew up with and fell in love with, and probably always will be.
i like trees and houses and porches.
(yay downtown!)

Re: Downtown Living
I would maybe consider downtown, but I hear there's no place to park my car, and the whippersnappers at the Power and Light District can kinda get carried away what with their hootin' and hollerin.'
