Trolley Cars

Does anyone have any info as to why the trolley cars stopped running? Were they not a money maker?

The trolleys offered easy access for both tourists and residents between Crown Center and the Plaza.

MTSI was the company running them and yes when tourism went down, they weren't profitable enough. They were very nice for visitors to hit all the major hotspots.

One company was going to restart the service last summer but never did.

What happened to the cars? Are they in storage somewhere? Or shipped off?

some are still here used for private rentals (lots of weddings) and some used other places I assume.
