The Stanley Cup was on display at Crown Center Sunday afternoon, and all it got was a small blurb beforehand in the Star. I realize that we don't have a team or even a hockey writer, but you'd think it would get more coverage than that.

there's a decent color picture of it in today's ku star sports - back page

some dude from lenexa is taking a picture of it.....could it be GIL?

Yeah, but I wish they would have had more than a blurb in Friday's paper. I didn't know about it until today's paper.

i found out about it last thursday while talking to some guys who play hockey at pepsi ice midwest in op that also post regularly on stltoday.com's blues talk

apparently, area rinks were notified of the Cup's arrival
