Kitchen utensils
One of my co-workers needs some bamboo utensils. Anyone know of a place closer to downtown than Pryde's Old Westport where he might be able to get his hands on some? Crossroads to River Market would be best, or West Side. Thanks!

Might be able to get something at the restaurant supply place across 5th St. from Minskys...? Never been in there.

Re: Kitchen utensils
I forgot until now, but on Saturday I stopped a shop at 115 W 18th St (between Wyandotte and Baltimore) and they had a lot of bamboo utensils, bowls, etc...a few shelves of them. Just to the right when you enter. I forget the name of the place but the florist 18 Flowers is in the same shop.

Don't forget, there's a Function Junction in Crown Center.
