Re: KCMO Downtown Streetcar
^Looks like Memorial weekend quite low compared to 2019 but a couple weekends were close to 2019. Weekdays probably still impacted by remote work and likely fewer events. Will take a look at Pollstar touring events when I get a chance.

Re: KCMO Downtown Streetcar
Fridays definitely aren’t showing nearly as heavy of ridership as they had prior. I’d imagine a good bit of some happy hour patronage came from DT workers who aren’t there anymore.

Yeah remote worker tracking articles often mention impact of losing afterwork happy hour workers within CBDs.
Looking at Pollstar concert tours, KCMO has under 80 events over next 2 months compared to about 120-180 for 1-2 months in summer in past. That's mainly from E Bottoms to Westport with Starghlight/casinos as well. STL City is at about 60 events. Minneapolis city has about 150 in same period, which is also lower than normal for them.

Does anyone know why they're repaving Main over the next few weeks? I've been quite happy with which roads were repaved this year so far, but this one seems like a head scratcher since it's generally in fantastic shape. Also good to hear that they're tackling some more trouble spots with illegal parkers, etc.

I don't know if its me but the streetcar track and the asphalt borders have been deteriorating. During some of the big rains I have seen water shoot out of the cracks,gfenn11 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:04 pm Does anyone know why they're repaving Main over the next few weeks? Still would love if they would provide data of hour by hour differences by month.

^Agree, lunchtime traffic would help give better indicators on office return.

Forgot to post these earlier, but here’s the new parts warehouse being built at the SC maintenance facility, getting close to exterior completion.

Re: KCMO Downtown Streetcar
Sept 2022. Comparing to 2019 below, hard to tell if this indicates more returning to office but probably is part of the recovery. More residential units have opened up since 2019 too so might be more of a factor. Pollstar shows KCMO events well below normal.
Sept 2019.
