"Gumbel" Bldg. at 8th & Walnut
Anybody, know the skinny on it? It's a very attractive building with ornate carved stone and large windows. It looks to me that there are both commercial and residential in it and it is partly occupied--they have banners advertising for the parade of dt homes, or did last year. I would be particularly interested to know more about the residential part of the building, i.e. how much, where the parking for residents is, who to contact about it.

Was in the building in October. They had 2 models, but said those were not what the final design was going to be. They still had some office users in the building. From my window I can see they have not started on the penthouse units. They said these would be set back from the cornice so they would not be seen from street level and so would conform with the historic listing guidelines
