KCPT has a new show hosted by Steve Rose. Tonight's guest is Lamar Hunt. You can call in live and ask him a question. Tonight at 7.

You mean KCPT doesn't come in in Pittsburgh?  Too bad.  KCPT does not offer any of it's local shows on the web.

It will be interesting to see what kind of questioning Steve Rose does of Hunt.  Either way he will be criticized.  JoCo man trying to freeload, or JoCo man meddling in an issue that doesn't concern him.

This will be interesting to watch tonight.

I've heard a little flak directed towards KCPT for not providing equal time to the no crowd, which I can understand, but I'm not sure who that really is.  Hopefully they do a fair job with this and ask some good questions, not just fluffy stuff (I'm not saying to plow them under).  I'd like to see what the owners have to say about all this--we haven't really heard from them.

Chef, I don't know of any web casts that KCPT does.

i was hoping to get an answer from someone who takes the time to think their replies out. i know there are not webcasts for public television, i am just trying to figure out a way to see it later or something, like you can find so many of mkb's npr talks after the fact.

if i cannot find something, i will have mom record it.

Thanks for the insult.

I know what you were hoping for and I'm saying I don't think they have that.

i am sorry, that was not directed at you, it was directed at the pittsburgh comment with regards to kcpt.

i am just looking for a taped version of it later, so, sorry you felt that response was lobbed at you, however, i can see why. sorry.

I hope someone really worked with Mr. Hunt before this show because I heard him on Between The Lines 2 years ago during Bi State II and he really is not good at this type of stuff.

And, I saw him on tv during the owners meetings he is not looking too good either.

Anyone able to watch this last night?  Care to share your thoughts to those of us who missed it?

I taped it and watched it late last night.  Thirty minutes of my life I'll never get back :)

Pretty much the questions you'd expect and the answers you'd expect.  Nothing new came out of it.

I'm guessing it was like a repeat of Barnes and Glorioso on NPR last week.

I'm beginning to wonder if the supporters just don't call in to shows like these.

Wow, I just watched this tonight with David Glass. This is a disaster of a show. Steve Rose is the most awkward host ever and the idea of watching live calls is terrible. A sample of some of the calls for Mr. Glass (I am NOT making this up):

Q: How will the rolling roof affect the police officers in the parking lot and will it help us attract events like Billy Graham and Ted Nugent?

Q: The Royals and Chiefs are tied at the hip unfortunately which means you have to be associated with Carl Peterson. I found it offensive when Carl welcomed Dick Cheney and held up a Chiefs jersey with a Cheney '04 on the back saying it represented our values when you look at past elections it doesn't represent our county at all since its blue, how can we trust Carl Peterson?

Q: What impact will a possible soccer stadium in Johnson County have on this? (this was from Steve Rose!!!!)

Best of the night:
Q: Instead of renovating an old stadium, has anyone looked into build a 300,000 seat multipurpose stadium for baseball, football and hockey?

Oh good, nearly the whole county could make it out to the games.  :D

Just goes to show how confused the voters will get when you come up with something as rediculous as this ballot initiative.

This show is terrible, regardless of who the guest is.  Steve Rose sucks.  He needs to grow some balls and ask some real questions.

Doughnut Roll Shileds on next week!
