They will have a small patio along walnut.

looks like it may be elevated -- one of the old window holes on the S side of the window bank facing walnut is now a door. cool!

Walked by today and saw a few people eating inside. Looks like a very nice add for the district. Positive move by Cordish.

Ate there this week. Very much like the mixx. I enjoyed it and will be back.

Is this where we can add in ideas to fill up P&L? I think a fun brunch / lunch focus place would work well for residents and tourists alike. Not like a big biscuit which is more family focused, more boozy brunch forward.

Snooze perhaps? That seems apt for the market

Isn’t this HomeGrown?

I don't know. Maybe? Never been to one.

haven't been either but from a glance at what's online, homegrown doesn't look as boozy to me as others in that space. i'd still be surprised if the district doubled up on brunch spots even if a different one seems like a nominally more on-market fit. maybe homegrown will just adjust their offerings a little bit

Yeah menu looks okay but need to break out a bottomless option or something open at old Drunken Fish that would be more boozy (rosa mexicano for example)

I like the Brookside HomeGrown location.

Definitely not as booze forward a brunch as Farmhouse for instance. Which I think is the best brunch vibes downtown imo

There is something planned from the Drunken Fish space that will for sure have a boozy brunch option. They’re in the design phase now so I’d suspect a 2025 open.

It will be one of the best new things to come to the neighborhood in a long time. Personal opinion. It's a very big project, but that space can be great if done properly.

Let's just hope whatever it is finally makes good use of that 2nd floor patio.
