Went to blue sushi last night. Good stuff! More of the club like atmosphere then the Westwood location. Which I think makes sense. Excited to have this downtown and open.
Also walked by the old drunken fish space today. Looks like there’s some minor work being done inside.

Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List
Does anyone think the former Plowboys location in Town Pavilion would be a good spot for the first Hawaiin Brothers restaurant downtown?
What about the former corner restaurant location in the Argyle Building at 12th and McGee? Does anyone know if that space still has the infrastructure installed for a restaurant operation?

A location anywhere downtown would be an instant hit. Also I gain 10 lbs
Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List
I only see two stores downtown; Rally House and Cosentino's Market. So what other, local owned, retail would be a good fit for the Power and Light district, or downtown? Any suggestions to fill the vacancies other than restaurants?

Yes to town pavilion. Right on the streetcar line? They would print money. Downtown needs more fast casual lunch places anyway
Argyle is probably a little too far out

Meddy's was officially announced in Cityscape, I know I've heard about it on here but not sure officially.

I think it would be easier to do something interesting and fun with the change of elevation at the Wyandotte end if Walnut were the choice for closure rather than Baltimore. Hopefully they won't view that change as a liability and try to mask it.

Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List
Are there vacancy numbers available for P&L? Walking around the area it seems aggressively empty.
I may go out later this week and count up the bays and see how what percentage are active. I know there are probably reasons for it (such as the T Mobile store under contract with Meddy's) but has to be visibly at or below 50%.

It’s embarrassingly empty along Main St. Idk how or why the city lets this stand. We talk all the time about foot traffic in the loop — if we could just get those places filled with tenant it would be actually be an active corridor basically all the time.

None of our city officials EVER call out Cordish. They've done a TERRIBLE job for the deal they got. Sometimes some shame for a job not well done is what's needed to push for action.TheUrbanRoo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2023 10:05 am It’s embarrassingly empty along Main St. Idk how or why the city lets this stand. I believe it's reportable to the city as part of the master development agreement. Sunshine request it.
I do think cordish makes PILT for the places they keep empty. Which I believe is public record as well.

Not following where you are referencing?
edit - looks like the old Zafar space just south of the old Garment District space, west side of Main

Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List
I’d bet this is a pop-up space for the Klutch brand/New Balance to launch around the Draft. IG says Klutch launches 4/27 – so need a place to throw up some clothing/decorations and bring celebs in. Space was already white boxed right? Could have a retail component, but wouldn’t expect it to last past the week.

Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List
Look at cordish being here with available spaces for pop ups.
