I especially like the part of developers offering free retail space in their buildings for businesses. This is a win/win for everyone. Businesses have an incentive to locate downtown. Residents have more businesses available. Rentals increase due to more retail options. A brilliant idea.

Yeah free rent sounds like a great program...I like their mindset in thinking the bottom floor is more of an amenity for selling their lofts instead of just trying to get every last penny out of each square foot.

Now, how do I get me some free space so I can open up my concept sports bar?
