Uhh...is that seriously just rating how much you like each poster?

I think it's more about agreeing/disagreeing with a particular post of a user.....take it however you wish.

To the left, directly beneath the karma, there are links.  "Agree" & "Disagree".  Click "Agree" and it gives the user +1 karma points.  Disagree gives -1.  You can only give points to a user once a day I believe.

Is there some reason a forumer wouldn't have the "Agree/Disagree" option?  I was talking w/ ColDayMan and he doesn't have those buttons when logged in.

The buttons don't show on your own posts. Just on the posts of others. At least that is the way it is on my screen.

I changed all of the themes and there are no buttons to click for karma.  I have no idea how to change it.  Oh well...LOL

It is under the karma rating for each person.  There is an "agree" and "disagree" link that adds a vote to their karma.

I'm new to this website and was wondering about the karma thing myself.  I don't have the agree/disagree option either.  Nice website & forums though.  I see everything Ozone84 posted except for the agree/disagree.  Not that I'd use it much, as opinions are, as they say, like..........

Just wondered.....

btw, I am not a virgin.

You won't see it for yourself.  Only for others.  Keeps you from pumping up your own stats.  I gave you a +1 to get you started.  Welcome!

rockwood you gotta have 10 posts before the karma option will work.  Keeps people from creating various user names for the sole purpose of "karma spamming"

Man, there must be a bunch of users that just log on every day to give people negative karma.  It seems like all of the regular posters are getting negative karma like mad.  Is there a karma spammer afoot?

It would make more sense if it was about agreeing/disagreeing with each post, not history.
