International summer seasonal routes are generally announced by airlines in August or September, so hopefully we'll hear something soon.

STL announced Lufthansa in December and KC announced Icelandair in January. We (Missouri) have a history of being late! Agreed otherwise

But agree on usual timing of announcements. Seems like it is usually by October. But obviously it can be later. I would think December would be pushing it this year. For some reason I thought I saw someone somewhere say STLs was secured awhile before the announcement it kept getting pushed for some reason, but I can't remember what board it was on or the reason.

Last year Southwest opened their summer schedule December 16. March opens September 8.

Not a major change but JetBlue updated their schedule in November and it looks like the routes are changing to an E190 from the A220.

It's a long ways off, but my flight in early March is still on an A220. Maybe they're putting smaller planes on the routes for winter.

Hopefully this is a temporary winter adjustment and not a permanent downgrade. Not particularly encouraging if its the latter however the E190 is often used for other midwestern routes like CLE and MSP.

Most are placeholders that will change a bunch though. Legacies just now are finalizing Nov/Dec schedules.

KSHB is saying the KCI team is pushing hard for a LHR-MCI via British Airways.

Included an interview with Justin Meyer about it.

Meyer says part of their pitch is selling KC as a World Cup city for 2026.

Also says the big focus is finding a connecting hub in Europe.

Allegiant extended their schedule into May

Looks like Destin is 2x a week starting in March
Punta Gorda 2x a week starting in late November
St Pete 2 times a week starting December.

I guess that means no Allegiant from August 15-late November.

But I feel like Punta Gorda and St Pete go longer this year so that’s good

Makes sense as London has the highest chance of success and nice to see actual details being fleshed out. This is the first time they've specifically mentioned an airline, target date and a destination as Justin is usually pretty vague and open ended about European service prospects.

I wonder how this will impact the speculation of DL launching CDG/AMS. KC could support both BA and a long haul DL route but i'm not sure if the $5 million incentives package is enough for both airlines.

Cancun runs Sat and Sun. I don't remember it being twice a week previous to this
No Charleston, Panama City, Pensacola, Myrtle Beach, Portland, Seattle - all normal breaks for winter
No Sarasota, Raleigh - I would guess ran in winters past but I don't really know
San Antonio is Saturday only
Fort Myers weekend only

How great would that be for London to finally be connected to a world city such as KC. I'm sure their citizens have been begging for it.
