SW finally getting direct to Burbank. I can put up with SW to get to Bob Hope, go often to Pasadena so its lot easier than LAX on the west side.

Saw United is cutting Newark for winter again. Was hoping it would stick around.

Schedule is showing IAD staying at 2x on UA and WN and DL show year over year increases in winter service to LGA and JFK

Condor has published their initial Summer 2025 schedule. San Antonio is being cut from 3x weekly to 2x weekly and the season down to 14 weeks. Will be interesting to see if they add any new US cities after this apparent miss

Not a great sign. Wonder if it makes it past year two.

Looks like they moved the frequency over to Boston.

AC starts up soon (next week?) and will go into hibernation again in October. In-line with most other midwestern cities.

I would be curious why they all get their flight back in May and we don’t until June, assuming it actually holds.

Must be winter schedule update time.
Saw delta updated their winter New York schedule. Lga and JFK each lose a frequency. Lga to 3x and JFK to 1x. Looks like LGA is mainline at least

I think LGA is all A220 so from a seating capacity change it really isn't much different. Air Canada is official as noted: https://x.com/IshrionA/status/1806728291241345502

I'm afraid those Spirit routes are next...dummy bookings that I was doing recently and loads look atrocious.

This has now been fully cut from the schedule.

These starting routes and running them a month before cutting them can’t be a good strategy for Frontier. I keep hoping to see them give route a bit leeway to build some passengers.

The top unserved destinations are measured by average number of passengers each day that depart KCI for each airport.

The most in-demand route leads to Raleigh-Durham International Airport (Code: RDU) in North Carolina, where almost 126 travelers originating from KCI go every day.

Here are the other popular destinations without regular nonstop service:

Raleigh-Durham (North Carolina) International Airport (125.6 average passengers daily)
Sacramento (California) International Airport (92.2)
Jacksonville (Florida) International Airport (85.6)
Daniel K. Inouye (Honolulu) International Airport (77)
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (71.7)
John Wayne (Orange County, California) Airport (71.3)
John Glenn Columbus (Ohio) International Airport (65)
Pittsburgh International Airport (61.1)
Charleston (South Carolina) International Airport (60.2)
Luis Muñoz Marín (San Juan, Puerto Rico) International Airport (55.2)
Sarasota Bradenton (Florida) International Airport (54.4)
San Jose (California) Mineta International Airport (51.1)
Savannah/Hilton Head (South Carolina) International Airport (50.5)
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (49)
Richmond (Virginia) International Airport (48.6)
Norfolk (Virginia) International Airport (45.6)
Reno-Tahoe (Nevada-California) International Airport (45.4)
Ontario (California) International Airport (44.7)
Myrtle Beach (Florida) International Airport (40.4)
Boise (Idaho) Airport (40)

Please, Florida's bad enough without moving Myrtle Beach there!

In all seriousness, I'm kind of surprised it's not higher on the list. Maybe it's more of a draw for vacationers from the east coast than the midwest?

RDU is served seasonally...not sure why it hasn't gone year-round, weekly. It used to be run daily on WN.
SMF is coming soon - as of now it is running at least through early next year.
CMH is running on the weekends for now

What's wild, with industry consolidation, we have lost N/S over the years to some of those cities above. We used to serve Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Memphis with old hub structures (Continental, Northwest and US Airways). Orange County, Myrtle Beach and Charleston were all served, seasonally, prior to COVID if I recall correctly.

I loved those little jets. Kind of fun to walk the tarmac.

Indiana is transferring to a local Indianapolis economic development org $5mm for air service development to be spent by 2027. Likely means they are close to a 2025 and 2026 incentive deal.

Not surprised. I think, pre-covid, they had DL running IND-CDG (due to incentives)

True. Def don’t miss the 50 seaters to EWR or IAH

DL adding MCI-SJC/BUF for Chiefs vs Niners & Bills, respectively. Both with A319s.
