A high quality middle eastern/greek restaurant is needed in this entire metro.

^Agree. There's a some counters and there's Tasso's in Waldo, which is OK but a decent one downtown would work, wherever it is.

Personally, I’d move your Garment district shops into that spot and have the glass corner be the entrance to the Strata tower.

that's too bad. Although they had gotten rid of a lot of the men's stuff it at least was some sort of clothes shopping downtown.

It’s a great spot that features great clothing but with class-a/Strata being built above, the space becomes too valuable for any smaller retail clothing store to survive in.KCPowercat wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 9:06 pm that's too bad. It’s one of my favorite interiors.

Because it hasn’t had a single profitable month in its entire history.beautyfromashes wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 11:55 pmRight, so why not move it to your empty space?DColeKC wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 9:01 pmGarment Districts days are numbered with class-a coming.beautyfromashes wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 3:31 pm Personally, I’d move your Garment district shops into that spot and have the glass corner be the entrance to the Strata tower.

Here's what used to be on that corner. Looks like 1963 based on the station wagon, and movie marquee. How the West was Won was released in 1963,
Guessing 1957ish for this photo.
Circa 1990s.
1940 tax photos. Starting on the corner and moving north on Main. Gateway Loans, Neder Brothers Meat Company, another loan company, Hurst Loans, a secreterial school, a beauty school, Great Western Appliances, and the Capital Garage.
