Alright, I'm gonna make this short and simple (from my 10 day trip last week)...

Houston: Awesome modern skyscrapers, but didn't see much pre-1940s art deco architecure. That type of architecture was found in the Strand District in Galveston.

Neat lookin' light-rail system down Houston's Main Street.

Kemah Boardwalk was nice.

I was disappointed with the LBJ Space Center...expected it to be more like the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL.

San Antonio: Devin would literally drool in the Tower of the Americas!

Don't buy drinks on the Riverwalk because you'll be paying as much as $10.50 for a good margarita or $4 for a bottle of domestic beer.

Seaworld was fun!

Austin: I loved the Frost Bank Tower skyscraper in downtown. Probably my favorite building in both Southern and Central Texas.

I got friggin' wasted off my ass on 6th Street. The live music scene in Austin is probably the best in the country.

Definitely try a Mexican Martini.

Had to chuckle in the State Capitol when people were walkin' up to the picture of GW with big smiles on their faces and takin' pictures, talkin' about how he is one of the greatest Presidents ever. Reminded me of Beavis & Butthead: The Movie for some reason (the old dude and his wife in DC).

Anyhow...
