If AMC gets bought out, I'm betting the headquarters gets moved to Los Angeles.

Amazon weighs acquiring Leawood-based AMC Entertainment, report says
Leawood-based AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. may be an acquisition target for Amazon.

The Intersect broke the news that Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) is considering pitching a deal that would give the e-commerce giant a platform for promoting Amazon Prime movies with award potential and access to AMC’s (NYSE: AMC) valuable data on moviegoers. The publication, which cited inside sources, also said AMC locations could be used for distribution hubs and to cross-sell Amazon’s other services, such as grocery delivery.

This isn't new news. Amazon has been eyeing AMC for years. More than likely nothing will happen until a bankruptcy

Given after the meme stock craze it’s seeming like AMC might actually turn things around, at least once they have a positive quarter.

I hope so - they're locked into some really bad rent deals
