Restaurateurs behind The Russell, Tailleur plan to open champagne bar, bakery along Main Street
Heather White and and co-owner Amante Domingo's family of restaurants continues to grow on Main Street in Kansas City's Midtown neighborhood, an area they believes holds the potential to be more than a transit route between Downtown and the Country Club Plaza.
Later this month, White will open Cheval at 3940 Main St., which sits in close proximity to their other restaurants — The Russell, 3141 Main St., and Tailleur, 3933 Main St. She calls the area the "French Quarter" because of Tailleur and Cheval's French-inspired names.

Following the opening of Cheval, the local restaurateurs also plans to open a bakery next to Cheval at 3936 Main St. It will be used to make pastries and other baked goods for its sister restaurants.
The bakery, which also will operate as a grab-and-go coffee shop, is expected to open in late fall.

They run well oiled machine establishments with great decor, great food, great service, i think there concept would work in almost any city nationwide. Its not like they are running a restaurant like this on Broadway and blaming the streetcar or construction, this is seriously a restaurant opening or opened on Broadway/Linwood, how long will this one last?

If Trump saw that old IHOP now he might think there were Russian hookers inside.

Believe it was always an IHOP until the nineties. Was there as a kid in the late sixties when they used to have flags of various countries hanging from the ceiling.
