I got distracted by all the flowers in the area.

My son uses a white card next to the image subject to fool his iPhone and get better lighting.
Image

Interesting critter.
Image

What is interesting about these leaves is that they appear to have been strung together via needle and thread.
Image

Not sure what these are. I refer to them as “pods.”
Image

Climbing flowers.
Image

Tiny, but still beautiful and outstanding.
Image

The blossoms are attractive, but the seeds look like alien monsters.
Image

The plentiful but elusive columbines.
Image

The smallish flowers hold their own in this environment.
Image

Yet another type of flower.
Image

More “pods.”
Image

Daisies, in a feeble attempt to convert a portrait-oriented image into a landscape.

These are the last pictures for this trip.

These looked like scattered stars to me.
Image

Please don’t eat the daisies.
Image

This flower is trying to hide from me.
Image

Simple clover, but how beautiful.
Image

Black butterfly or moth feasting on clover.
Image

Ditto, with a change of costume.
Image

Not terribly attractive, but interesting.
Image

A lowly dandelion but still quite stunning.
Image

Pretty little bell. I wonder if we can hear it ring.
Image

Um, this started out as a portrait-oriented image, and it was a bit skewed. So I stretched and twisted it to fit my preferred 4:3 aspect ratio and line it up straighter. I tried to center the sign horizontally, but it wasn’t working, so I gave up. WYSIWYG.
Image

Since we were leaving the park, a picture of this sign seemed appropriate.
Image

Ditto for this one.
