In a perfect world, Oracle truly commits to KC for Health division and something approximately along these lines occur...
- Oracle leases out all of W&R (or purchases it)
- Pre-leases Strata
- Builds out Oracle Cloud data centers at Bannister complex instead of more office
- Cerner exec starts School of Tech/Health IT at UMKC (internships for Oracle Health and general KC data center momentum)
- Larry Ellison starts a new airline (he once had one in Hawaii) with hubs in KC/Austin/Nashville including several international destinations

That’s why I was more optimistic about rolling the dice with Oracle buying than keeping an assured slow decline with Cerner

Interior lights on all floors at night. No outdoor lighting as of last night. Hope it's just a matter of getting it installed.

office floors are unfinished and no tenant improvement permits filed. they are at a place where they could be building out if they had a tenant signed

Is there going to be some landscaping in front of the concrete ramparts or will that section of north Truman be tunnelized for the 670 park?

I don't imagine they will do much landscaping there because I assume most of that concrete will be hidden by any deck project over the interstate.

Not at all, since it's the dominant feature! My main rub with this building was the main entrance, but I also like how they've hidden the garage. Similar "metal blade" treatment on Reverb.

Yes, but the north side has the metal fin siding instead. I believe it was originally supposed to be glass like the south side

I see. I misread your post. I thought you were saying the south side was supposed to be more glass. Yeah, I thought the same thing. While the building turned out better than I thought it would, I'm not a fan of the siding on the north side of the garage.
