Jersey City has undergone an amazing amount of development, and has some really nice older neighborhoods as well.

This is an older residential block in Jersey City.

He sounds like a typical East Coast new urbanist to me. Interesting to see what he does.

It's had its hands in some pretty dark places and a lot of bad press. Working with dictators, disturbing work with ICE, at the center of the Enron scandal, ect. Not saying our new guy was involved in any of that or anywhere close to it, but it's worth notining that the company isn't exactly.....normal

Worth noting that KC has some ugly and likely unpopular decisions to make concerning budget shortfalls and covid.

I forget the numbers, but if the city cancels doing road widening/expansion projects for several that would go a long way to bridging the gap.

The city should borrow from the Federal Reserve and assume/hope/push for some of this is forgiven in the future.
