Mythical Games, which uses and provides a platform with technology based on blockchain and nonfungible tokens, recently signed a 16,000-square-foot lease at 1321 Baltimore Ave.
The company's valuation reached $1.25 billion in November, with $150 million in Series C financing raised from a range of investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Michael Jordan and The Chainsmokers. It recently partnered with another backer, the NFL, to develop an NFT-based game titled NFL Rivals.

Value has likely gone down since Nov. Still an awesome get for downtown.
The industry is legitimate enough to bring 100 jobs to KCMO lol
Mind you they are based in California and what constitutes as a profitable industry is totally different then the rest of the nation. They are basically 10 years ahead of the curve so it’s good KC is getting this; the NFT tech bubble is just gonna grow until it becomes more relevant to the other 49 States and their respective economies.

Totally agree. Having a huge branch for them in downtown is awesome for our tech scene.

We don't seem to have a history of picking winners. Doesn't sound like we incented this group so maybe I have less reason to worry.
Collison on 100 employees for Mythical games. Doesn't mention incentives but if any involved would hope the City/State validates they actually live in KC area, not remote assigned to KC office. https://cityscenekc.com/la-gaming-tech- ... -district/
