I guess they also missed it

I think that's still the original rendering with the taller (by 3-5 floors?) version of 3L. Current version not quite as elegant. Regardless, will look good (very happy they kept the "W" structural element and changed up the exterior surfaces) and will be great addition to the city.
The rendering posted is the final version being built.
By the last gent?
My mistake. I thought it was being implied that the top parapet has been redlined all together to be more squaty and flat like 2L.

Didn’t even notice they’re using the older rendering with 3 additional floors.

The elevation alone will make 3L aesthetically pleasing in contrast to 2L.

My take is that the east end of 3 will be about the height of the penthouse holding the TWO LIGHT signage on the east end of Two. The slope will carry it up to the west end about equivalent to another 2 floors. With the slightly less building width from east to west, the added height and the multiple vertical accents built into the south facade it should read like a Slim 4 Life before and after.
I'm not real sure, but it appears that thin black louvered ventilation grilles are set vertically into the curtain wall and are also another vertical accent.

Have been thinking that the Power & Light mimics the Plaza bowl
Concept in a way that is more accommodating to 21st century trends.

I'm all for covering it up, but just as traveling through the trench gets interesting, they're going to cover it up.

Good. I want to hang out and enjoy that view while I toss a frisbee with my friends.

Not see the view at 60 mph

Superb pic. This development be a major component on the skyline... Cordish allowed the archtects serious latitide with the structural member exposed... sort-of Walnut Tower-esque..

Thank you for sharing the pic.

The exposed "W" reminds me of one of my favorite hotels -- The William Vale in Brooklyn. Just on a smaller scale.
