Yeah 1321 Baltimore Ave, right by the President. Their old KC office was at 4400 College Blvd in Overland Park

Only really poaching if there were incentives attached IMO. They’re probably just chasing their employment demographic

That's good. Because just a few weeks ago we were hearing on this board that " you have to stay in south JoCo because muh talent base is there yada yada yada". So I'm glad a tech company like this is going downtown because obv that trend needs to reverse. I wish Zoom's office would've been downtown instead of College blvd too. Same for Creative Planning. There's no reason we should be allocating companies like that outside of downtown. I'm glad atleast one of them is reversing this trend. Keep going.

6 units open with more coming in the next 2 weeks. $500 off for the first month on a 12 month lease. May be more generous than peak pandemic?

Disagree. Why would you leave the ecosystem a year before you “upgrade”? Conversions to 3 Light are staying put not leaving

Fairly normal amount of units to open up but they’ll be filled quickly. Only apartments that sit for awhile tend to be the more expensive ones.

I mean prospective tenants will likely wait for the more luxurious 3 Light to open. I agree anyone in 2 Light will lease another year before moving across the street.
