As a golfer I am extremely excited about this project. This is old news but driving by the site this weekend and seeing the pillars going up got me hyped once again! http://topgolf.com/us/kansas-city/construction-cam/

The pillars are HUGE. I wonder if the neighbors to this had any idea of the scope of the thing. That new little rehab hospital next door (just behind it to the east) will love having what amounts to a giant dog cage right in front of them. The high-end apartments that just finished up down the road must also think it adds to their "wooded ambience" (not). I'm beginning to wonder about zoning sanity in Overland Park.

Agreed. Just saw the giant poles while driving by this weekend. What an eyesore.

Don't forget the other Commercial coming to it.

I saw the poles without knowing the project and hoped it would be something really cool architecturally--bummer, they're just hanging a net from them.
