Company bought part of brookside

Discuss items in the urban core outside of Downtown as described above. Everything in the core including the east side (18th & Vine area), Northeast, Plaza, Westport, Brookside, Valentine, Waldo, 39th street, & the entire midtown area.

And Applebees has a KCMO mailing address but if an Applebees moved into Brookside we wouldn't call it a "local business"

The owner of Smallcakes spoke to our neighborhood association when they opened on 39th - they ARE a local company, but have stores all over.
