Given the amount of space that Boulevardia takes up in the West Bottoms, I wouldn't be surprised if it'll be in/around some combination of Union Station, Washington Square Park, and Crown Center.

Pretty sure RM does not allow that large of events with bands. So I agree on Crown Center/Union Station. Which would be beautiful!

What kind of attendance does Boulevardia even get? They should just have it on SW Blvd right by the Brewery

Yeah this makes sense. I guess there is an outside chance it’s down at Berkley Park or in Penn Valley/Liberty Memorial. I’d rather it be somewhere nestled up amongst the buildings in the city though because it just makes for a more unique vibe.

From this morning's 2020 announcement email:

"With the support of Crown Center and the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department, this year’s festival will take place on Grand Boulevard, and throughout Crown Center and Washington Square Park, in Kansas City, MO."

The Westside would go ballistic.

Boulevardia is back (for real, presumably) this year - concert lineup and ticket sales start tomorrow.

In something 2019 me would have never expected to see for a large 2022 event in KC, the VIP area is sponsored by a cannabis company.

The Bleachers or Glass Animals would be a good headliner and it makes sense for them to play here tour wise based on here they would be on tour before or after boulvevardia

It's Nathaniel Radcliffe and the Nightsweats and Dashboard Confessional headlining. Always have a good time at Taste & Taps.

Solid lineup this year imo. For $35 a night right now this is an absolute steal. Either of the headliners alone would be that much.

^I know one, Surfaces and only because of that "Sunday Best" song from a few years ago and a collaboration they did with Thomas Rhett that was played on SiriusXM.

I notice lots of "DJs" in there. I wonder how many are legit and how many aren't.

Yeah the focus for Boulevardia is more Alt/Indie/Folk than anything else. I don't recognize any of the DJ's personally

Lots of good local stuff too, Grisly Hand, Katie Guillen, Back Alley Brass Band, Grand Marquis. Found a Job is a great Talking Heads cover band.
