This came out well. I wonder what occupancy is right now since some of the apartments are open.

It’s about 50% leased.

I’m away for a bit, but I’ll take some pictures of the courtyard when I get back.

The colors and design of the courtyard area look hideous to me, but perhaps I am just biased. :)

At least it is not an NSPJ design.

It’s literally earth tone tiles and earth tone boulders at this point? Have you even seen it or just bitching because you’re across the street?

I meant the multi-yellow colored siding on the building facing the courtyard. You can see it some from the street but I was upstairs in the Academy Bank building. I wasn't commenting on the courtyard itself if that is what you are describing.

Ohh yeah, I thought you were talking about the courtyard.

The colors and decorating are definitely a personal choice.

Some pictures of the courtyard under construction.

Understand the design choice isn't for everyone. I'll take pictures of the rooftop and common area when it's not rainy and gross.

It looks fine to me even though it is still under construction.

I believe it is. They're taking down the elevators so I think it's set. I can't believe they're going to scaffold back up to do more painting.

It's kind of a jigsaw puzzle design. Tomorrow if it's nice I'll try to take pictures from up high to show perspective.

That’s a good question I don’t know the answer to. I don’t know if they’re counting the whole build or just what they have a tco for.

I’ll ask when I find the right time.

Anecdotally, they seem to be quite positive while reverb seems to be struggling. They had a grand opening, as much as you can these days, and the execs all seemed pleased and confident their amenities will win out.

Website shows only 1 unit immediately available. Looks like a few more will be finished on 11/24

Just based off of this, City Club is doing better in leasing than Reverb.

City Club Apartment Crossroads Grand Opening
We attended the City Club Apartments grand opening October 14th. There were food and drinks provided by The Rieger. These apartments are in the center of the Crossroads District and have studios to penthouses available for future residents. They also have a sky park rooftop pool for socializing.

Artist Mauricio Ramriez will be completing a breathtaking 60’ x 70’ mural of an endangered Western Lowland Gorilla this week on the side of the Historic Midwest Hotel -- now City Club Apartments Kansas City Crossroads. In a word: stunning!

The restaurant corner came out good. I also find the walk up apartments to be quite nice
