Look, I'll just be the one to say it:

Both are great stadiums, but the difference is that football thrives in large open space away from the city, and baseball thrives best *in* the city.

That's why Arrowhead can survive, but Kauffman can't. That's really it.

Was at the game tonight. Best game in history of Arrowhead.

One of the best games in the history of the NFL.

That game was definitely one for the ages, holy crap.

Yet, all I heard on TV was that the rules following a tie MUST change.I didn't hear that when the same thing happened during the super bowl where the Patriots beat the Chiefs a while back.

No one cares when it affects a team from KC, they definitely will care when it’s an east or west coast team though.

Never been a super bowl between patriots and chiefs. Playoff yes, they are in same league.

Sorry. I just remembered that the GOAT beat Mahomes because of a tie close to a super bowl.

Mahomes was never quite the same after that bone head play to end the first half.

Lots of criticisms about that game, but no complaints about a team that has four AFC Championship games, two super bowls, and one Superbowl win in 4 years.

Absolutely not. Growing up with years where we wouldn’t hit .500 to this is a night and day difference. Definitely still proud of the team and our city!

Embarrassing. The legacy of this team ended today. Yes a nice run but not a great or "dynasty" team that many hoped it would be. 3 of the greatest players at their positions was magical. This game was the worst single debacle I've ever seen in pro sports. Ever. Something happened here that should not have. If I believed in conspiracies I'd swear the game was thrown. It actually became impossible to watch at the end. This team now becomes like that very good team we had in the 90s that won many AFC West titles and dominated the Western Conference, but never went deep in the playoffs.

Side note. Yesterday around 2pm I was driving south on Southwest Trafficway at Westport Rd when a white Land Rover swung into my lane and nearly ran me off the road. The SUV was swerving in and out of lanes of traffic all the way down Belleview and made the left onto 47th cutting off several vehicles. I decided to follow them and after a turn or 2 the SUV pulled over and parked. It was P Mahomes little brother and a girl. He drives like a child. I yelled at him about his poor driving and he just looked at me and smiled.

This guy is just the worst, biggest piece of shit in Kansas city. He will probably be on vacation for the next 6 months so we won't have to hear about him until August
