There's about 20 dumb hicks with fresh tickets today. Parking patrol was hitting it hard an hour ago.

Areas they were ticketing are no-parking or loading only zones. Signage is very clear.

There’s painted graphics that depict a person on a bicycle in the bike lanes.

Project is delayed as well so who knows when the delineators will be installed.

Exactly. Each block has it clearly marked with paint and signage stating "Bike Lane"

If you can't figure out that you should not park over the top of a marked bike lane (signs or not), then yeah, I guess you are dumb hicks. Even if all you can see is a line (painted bike symbol not nearby), why would you park in an area that is not even wide enough for a car? It's obviously a bike lane. Come on.

I went up there last night even though I had no reason to just to check out if this is as bad as everyone is saying.

Sure enough literally not a single person was parked correctly. How can literally not a single person get it. Parking over painted lines has to at least raise a red flag for someone to think twice about what they’re doing right?

If you saw the crazy guy riding a motorcycle down Grand calling out to people “you’re parked in the bike lane” you may have seen me.

Why am I still talking about this? It isn't marked as a bike lane. One block is.
The problem becomes if you are trying to park in an open spot and everybody else is at the curb you cant float as you'll then block the curb parker's in. The answer was to block off parking until it was complete.

Brian Platt says they’re going to add some barriers this week. He also they’re gonna start enforcing the illegal parking rules.

The answer was to block off parking until it was complete.

This is the correct answer. I'm sure this will be OK once complete, with separation/demarcation fully in place.

I think I finally understand the plan here.

So, they're only going to fund this south of Truman...and it's only going to look like Gillham with just bollards, curb bumpouts & no green paint.

Is that it? So we end up with no landscaping, just bumpouts?
