Thank you! I always tried to remember the name of that place which was around when I first started going to Westport. Always parked over there with no issues.

I used to manage this hotel a few years back. Yes just lipstick on a pig and anything to rent a room. I quit and switched careers real quick. Overall they had a good concept, just slumlord type of ownership. I know they have switched hands tho.

816 Hotel. Right after they re-opened.

Bartending was fun getting drunk for free every shift was a treat.

I used to work with the owners brother (He was an engineer who left to run a daycare business with his wife) Both brothers are entrepreneurs and they are some of the nicest people u will ever meet. It's unfortunate that this happened but this was nothing in how the business was run and it's shouldn't be a trouble spot going forward. I hope his business can survive after this incident.

I see Westport released a masterplan including height restrictions. So dumb.
