The ultimate "feel good" photo thread of KC! (Very large photo thread)
Here is a nice collection of some of my favorite photos of KC, so sit back, let the thread load and enjoy Kansas City, if this photo thread doesn't make you feel good about our city, nothing will.

What are you talking about? That photo WAS taken on a Chiefs game day!
I can tell because not only did the fans not show up to watch the game, the Chiefs didn't show up to play the game (just like they did for the 2007 season).

SuburbanNation Location: Saint Louis
Even though Kansas City isn't the wide open jazz/speakeasy powerhouse it once was, especially since the decline of rail travel, the urban core still exhibits a mountain west style "collection pot" of the greater regions interesting and socially liberal people, some from smaller towns on the kansas plains. KC also displays less of the more insular, formal, and established social fashions of older, more eastern cities.
You can always count on some uninformed, repetitive StL assclown.
That's St Louis assclown-speak for "they're growing like gangbusters while we argue with the census every year about population losses".SuburbanNation Location: The City of Saint Louis
you also still find people passing through to the west in a fashion mostly unheard of these days, staying for a while, working/living/saving due to the low cost of living and healthy economy.

that "assclown" is this forum's very own warwickland, who has espoused innumerable thoughtful, learned opinions of both KC and STL. this is more than we can say for you.18th STreet wrote:

Beautiful pictures (with great variety) of a beautiful city (with great variety). How did you get these trains to pose for you? Did you invade some giant's recreation room?

Absolutely incredible pictures. I love seeking out creative commons pictures to include with each post at KCWeather.org, but these blow most of the ones away that I've used over the last few years. Great composition.
