I-435 & NE 48th Street

Does anybody know what's going in at the SW corner of I-435 & NE 48th Street near Worlds of Fun?
I think they're making room for more hotels.
But, I could be mistaken because it was a long time ago when I was reading about it. So, maybe I don't remember correctly.
