And this house a couple doors down I thought could use a little touching up to make look original.

Not only does that house at 7th and Chestnut need fixing up, it needs to be declared a toxic waste dump, or a brownfield site!    The yard was full of dog crap.   Did anyone else get it on their shoes?  I just spent the last half hour trying to remove some sort of atomic, gum-like animal poo from the tread of my shoe (I hope it was animal). It was nearly impossible.  I thought I was going to have to throw away the shoes.   Used laundry detergent and finally toothpaste and toothbrush to get it out of the shoe-treads.  Don't know if the odor will leave them.

Poor AllthingsKC, I fear you have the atomic dog poo all over the floormats.   :(

I hope you have rubber floor mats. Otherwise, you're going to have to probably use carpet shampoo and a brush to get it out. And some kind of deodorizer.  What, I don't know?

I'm sorry.  I think I picked it up stomping around in that derelict house's yard.

If I wrecked the splendor of your vehicle, and you have to abandon it at the salvage yard as a result, I owe you dinner at least.

Sorry again.  What a horrible first impression I must have left.  :-(

OMG, not the dreaded and reviled rat poo!   That's the worst.  Rat poo permeates every material on a sub-atomic level and binds itself permanently. Poor AllThinksKC and his KIA!

Schugg, you really must speak up around me since I have hearing loss in my right ear and don't hear as well sometimes if you are on that side of me.  But of course, you couldn't have known that.

Boy, that red and green house is worthy of a restoration.  That cartouche on the side looks like a big  pickle.

And a closer shot of the rotting roof...

Overall not in bad shape, but needs some woodwork love at the roofline...
