I think a lot of them are leased out already. But there is a big surface lot next door to it. I can't remember who owns it, but it shouldn't be hard to build parking around here if it's really needed.
to the south of the building? UMB has part, I think the city has another part.
I was thinking the one to the north of the garage, east of the church.
I always have a hard time picturing this block though.
There is also that stupidly big lot to the west of the court house but I'm sure that's controlled by the feds and would be a pain in the ass to build on.
Anyway, there's a lot of parking in this area. The ambassador did their expansion with no parking and no problems not far away.

This place is so sad. Could have been such a great rehab, but these developers are just terrible.
I hope they sell soon before it gets beyond repair.
I think it's too solid a construction to be irreparably damaged, but it's still just awful that one of the city's large old buildings is getting treated like this. If the current developers don't follow through with their plan and it gets sold off, it could be a blessing in disguise. These guys don't know what they're doing, and the final product would've shown that.

When walking by it looks like more of the stonework on the corner of the building is shifting and becoming loose. Not good.
Might recommend a 311 request to get the city to take a look. Last time that was quite a chunk that fell and did some real damage to the pedestrian signal...would have been disastrous to a person.
I think one time I sent 311 a report of rats in the garage, bird poop every where on the sidewalk, and then a blocked sidewalk and even the poor person taking the report was like uhh....
Go back through this thread. It's been raised. The city has failed to do anything. Why keep waisting our time if they refuse to do anything?
