Unfortunately I'm not too young to remember Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green and then the Bob Welch. Saw the Welch version in Lincoln in 1972. Much more of a blues band than the Lindsey Buckingham/Stevie Nicks version.

Guess a few...good news.
They have a very large following among people over 40 or so and judging from the large host of attractive young women covering their songs on youtube (for example..http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=SkdIfRDK-5g), that following transcends generations.  Given the fact that they've not played KC since the band broke up in the late 80's, I suspect they will have no problem selling out.  I believe they sell out the majority of their gigs anyway.

Two last place teams.  Looks big.
I may be right.  I may be wrong.  But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

Interesting to see DMB book at Sprint Center when they traditionally like to play in outdoor venues.

Motely Crue and Def Leopard added too.  It looks like SC is taking some of what would normally be Sandstone events.

Edit: Looking at Verizon Amph shows in STL, it looks like KC is splitting those shows between Starlight and Sprint Center.

Also heard that Willie Nelson will be joining DMB for KC and Tulsa.

Hope the patrons know, smoking pot inside the SC is not allowed.

ac/dc paid a "fee" to the city, so that they and the crew could smoke inside the center.

If the same courtesy is not available, Willy will either eat brownies or spend most his time on the bus.

wha? how is that legal? i don't recall the smoking ban having any clause specific to the sprint center.

Heard somewhere that SC had a manpower shortage to the point that they didn't have the people to bust people who smoke in the SC.

That was my reaction.  I was told this by a Sprint employee who said they didn't know how it was done....... but of course those who can pay can play.

Maybe should be a rumor post?

I have heard of celebrities doing the same at hotels. One of their assistants will just go to the front desk and pay the fine during checkin :)
