EDC gets some federal funding for downtown signage

Federal government will pay 80% of 1 million dollar price tag for downtown signs. Plan calls for signage to be expanded to other areas in the urban core in the near future.

I've seen the mock-ups of the signage. It looks good, and will go a long way to improve downtown's image.

As long as there's money for new signs, why not use the 19th-century names?

Bahua..this money is for the wayfinding signs, not every street sign...I believe.
