Fire at 17th & Locust

Post by KCDowntown »

About 11:30 there was a pretty decent-sized fire around 17th & Locust. It was on the eastern side of the street and was surrounded by a buttload of fire trucks. I'm trying to figure out what businesses are in the area.

Best guess is A & M Associates at 172X Locust, which is listed as a Light Industrial business.

Hopefully, no one was hurt.

a custom cabinet maker was located in that building, which is a total loss. What a shame.
Are you sure we're talking about the same God here, because yours sounds kind of like a dick.

The building was at 1609 Locust. It was McCartney Cabinets, the picture on the Star website makes it look like a total loss.
