there is a three-story brick building on the north side of 20th street between central and broadway that appears to have some new activity going on inside. the entire interior was lit up last night and had i not been driving off to somewhere else i would have taken a closer look. don't know the address, but i think the accardos own this one (i've also emailed chris for more info).

anyone know what's going on here?

turns out this is the zahner building, the address is 310 w. 20th, and it is indeed owned by the accardos. the article referencing the switch to commerical from residential is here: http://kansascity.bizjournals.com/kansa ... ily23.html

the recent activity is for two new commercial tenants that are moving in this spring/summer.
