Kansas City Capstone Awards - Crowning Achievements in Real Estate
The Kansas City Business Journal is accepting nominations for the second Capstone Awards program. The Kansas City Business Journal and its partners - Bank Midwest, Time Warner Cable Business Class, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP and Walton Construction - will spotlight those organizations that have been involved in real estate development projects and transactions that enhance the Kansas City area. We will honor Kansas City's most talented developers, brokers and architects, as well as achievements in innovative design. We will celebrate these accomplishments at an awards luncheon on April 5 and feature them in a special supplement published April 6. Recognition will be given in the following categories: office, multifamily, retail, mixed use, industrial, brokering, architectural design, community impact and master-planned community.
To be eligible for consideration, the first phase of the project or its entirety needs to be completed and ready for occupancy between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2006. All projects/transactions must be in the metropolitan area (Jackson, Cass, Clay, Ray and Platte counties in Missouri, and Johnson, Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties in Kansas.) Projects that have won previously are eligible based on new phases completed during 2006.
INFORMATION ON SUBMITTING THE REQUIRED SUPPORTING MATERIALS:
Each project is required to submit 4-6 electronic photographs. Photos should consist of both internal and external views. Photos may be submitted via CD or e-mailed to clockyer@bizjournals.com. If no electronic photographs are available, please forward hard copies to address below and note that the photographs submitted will not be returned and become the property of the Kansas City Business Journal.
We ask that you also submit additional material that demonstrates the deal's significance. This could be in the form of press releases, news articles and marketing information. Please submit 8 double-sided copies of this additional information, including printouts of the pictures you are submitting electronically.
